SweetStick - from Mole in the Ground Music

Sweetstick is a dulcimer on a stick. It’s fun, easy, rugged, and you can make music with it right from the start. There are no "wrong" notes since the frets are spaced to give you the notes of a major scale with a flat 7th.

Each Sweetstick is finely handcrafted of the highest quality of solid woods with a dulcimer neck, 2 1/2 octave range includes 6 1/2 fret, 32" overall length (~25 3/4" scale length"). Hold it like a guitar to play. Open-gear tuners. Tuned D-A-D or C-G-C. Made in Michigan.

Color tone and wood varies as each stick is custom made in Michigan.

The Sweetstick sounds something like a banjo. However, it is unique in its tone and timbre. The Sweetstick offers a range of chords, 2 1/2 octaves of melody, and its rhythmic possibilities are endless. The Sweetstick can also be played in a variety of major and minor keys by simply retuning the instrument or with the use of a capo.

You will never be bored with one of these instruments. And it is a great travel instrument due to its lightness and size.
